Darton Boosters, Inc. was founded by friends of the college with the belief in the positive impact athletics has on our students, campus, and community.  The purpose of the Darton Boosters is to promote and support the objectives of the Darton State College Athletic Program by helping to provide funds; promoting fellowship among coaches, athletes, employees and students of Darton State College; and strengthening ties between the community and the college.  Proceeds from the run will be used to support these activities which include but are not limited to student scholarships, team travel to national and regional tournaments, specialized equipment needs, etc.

Darton State College is located on a 180-acre campus in Southwest Georgia, a region known for its year-round warm climate.

When you tour the campus in person or on-line, you will discover a state-of-the-art theatre; multiple athletic fields for intercollegiate and intramural athletics; outdoor courts for tennis and racquetball; Cavalier Arena, along with an indoor pool, a fitness center, a weight room, an indoor track, and studios for aerobics and dance; a student center, with a game room and food services. The student center includes a bowling alley, racquetball courts, and an indoor climbing wall, among other amenities.

With more than 30 campus organizations and service clubs, with 11 nationally-regarded athletic programs, and with exceptional programs and facilities in art, dance, theatre and music, Darton College seeks to be an involving campus. Darton values student engagement because research indicates that students who are involved during college ordinarily are more successful in college and in life.
